Last night M and myself meet with some old friends, soon to return to London after a year in Paris. We spoke of our plans to adopt and our first interview.
It was great to have their support and see their enthusiasm for us. What is great is they have other gay (lesbian) friends who have wanted children too. Their friends took the IVF route though, not adoption and have recently had their first. Our friends told us of the ups and downs during the IVF process.
I left last night thinking how great it was that we had some friends with this experience and who could be a shoulder to cry on when needed it .
